Addressing_HC1I relinquish my duties as the High Commissioner, Sri Lanka on 28th February 2015 after serving the Government of Sri Lanka for 3 years and 8 months in Australia and concurrently accredited to Fiji, New Zealand, Papua New Guinea, Solomon Islands and Vanuatu.

I take great honour and pride in thanking all of you for the tremendous support and encouragement extended to me and my staff during my tenure.

Your assistance helped me and my staff to bring credit to Sri Lankan and uplifted the already existed good relationship of all countries that I was responsible.

As I say thank you, I take this opportunity to wish all of you and your families good health, wealth and happiness in all future endeavours.

I am confident that all of you will continue to extend your fullest cooperation in the future too.

I regret that I was unable to meet you prior to my departure,
