High Commissioner-designate of Sri Lanka to Canberra, Yasoja Gunasekera was delighted to have the opportunity to visit the Australian Parliament on 10th May to congratulate the Hon. Cassandra Fernando M.P,

one of the first MPs of Sri Lankan origin to be elected to the Federal Parliament, on her re-election to the House of Representatives from Holt, Victoria. She was also honoured to be able to meet and congratulate Hon. Daniel Mulino M.P, Assistant Treasurer and Minister for Financial Services, who is also a Parliamentary Friend of Sri Lanka
